Doing the I'm Possible
I'm going to be honest I haven't really felt like I can take on everything I am trying to lately. I am worried I am being too serious about my future to really enjoy the right now.
The right now: it's 9am and I still haven't slept. What a pointless all-nighter. Maybe I can pass on the blame to the double-shot of espresso I slipped into my vanilla cappacino last night. Maybe, and more likely, it's because of the anxiety I need to get over-- it's been getting worse even though people keep telling me it'll all work out in the end.

It's a new year!
Hi everyone! Sorry I haven't posted for a while (I know a whole week- wow!) I thought it was important to take a little break from academics after a paticularly challenging semester-- and it's the holidays, gotta spend time partying with family and friends. The party isn't over.
I know it is cheesy to say but I'm feeling really good about this new year. I am a bit of an optimist, if you haven't noticed. I am ready to own this year!

My goals
I'm a pretty ambitious person, with oh-so-serious goals. I'm hoping to knock off some of these things within my lifetime:
- Be an ex-pat (live and work abroad)
- Have a pet dingo
- Go to every continent (yes that includes Antarctica)
- Climb the Great Wall of China
- Have a house with a rooftop patio and throw parties
- Leave clues for a treasure hunt around a city
- Have an exchange student stay with me
- Make a toast at an important event
- Wear an edible outfit (think Lady Gaga)
- Have my name on a building (I hope they can spell Zakrzewski)
- Complete a 365-day challenge
- Bike cross-country
- Win a contest (I'm feeling lucky)
- Invent a food or drink and have it on special at a bar/restaurant
- Own a winery
- Read a book a day
- Plan a wedding
- Be an honorary guest at an event
- Climb Mt. Everest
- Jump down buildings in Dubai
That's only some of what I'm going to do. So excited for life and what it throws my way!
Cheers!
Laura
